A few years ago, I became a father. What a beautiful feeling, right? So I started singing a few songs I was making up on the spot. I liked them. So I recorded them, using some of my musicians friends in New Orleans. Then I asked my good friend Roberto David to make illustrations for every song. And here we are: this beautiful book was born.

After a few years I was lucky enough to meet Italian editor “SINNOS” that immediately believed on my book and agreed on publishing it with a national distribution. https://www.sinnos.org/prodotto/rocco-va-in-america/

“Rocco va in America” is a colorful album with cool children songs that all the parents love, and they can share with their babies. You’ll find all the New Orleans sound with some Cuban and Brazilian flavor, with a little bit of Cancion Francoise too.

Here’s an example: the song Ole’ Ole’, with a beautiful animals “second line” new Orleans style!!

I always suggest people to go buy books at the bookstore in order to support those institutions that big things like Amazon are unfortunately destroying.
